Inspired by misty landscapes on a foggy morning, the Nook Vase is part of an ongoing exploration of how we can seek to enhance the beauty of flowers through vases that strategically blur, obscure, reveal, transform or otherwise play with composition, form and colour. By tucking blooms into the Nook Vase they are enclosed in a frosted veil, creating on one side an almost painterly arrangement of blurred forms, and on the other, a springing forth of colour and life. This object was designed to re-think convention using principles of light and composition, inviting creative and thoughtful styling while elevating the presence of even a single bloom.
