Sarah Lesher - Ethereal Space IV
Dream House explores the idea of the aspirational home and the impact of architecture on desired emotional states. Viewing the dream house through the lens of a manifestation practice, spatial and sensory details of an imagined future home are recorded through painting, as an experimental way of materializing it into reality.
Through subtle tones, minimal compositions, and the soft, atmospheric texture of lime wash on canvas, fragments of both existing and imagined spaces are channeled, while the physical process of painting supports an embodied emotional experience of calm. Each piece becomes a visual manifestation list—an inventory of specific materials, structures, and moments of space and light.
