Artist's Statement
Inspired by the Pink Floyd song from Dark Side of the Moon—a song I returned to while my mother was dying of ALS. The lyrics echoed what I couldn’t say: please don’t leave… just breathe. ALS is a disease that slowly traps the body, taking breath away piece by piece.

But this work is not about loss—it’s about presence. About breath as identity. The quiet rhythm that carries us from waking to sleep. Our mothers. Our borrowed time.

The invisible thread of life that moves through us, moment by moment.
